We got this black silkie because they are so metal. They, turns out, were also a rooster. Sassafras is a very sweet silkie who tended to mind his own business- often going off alone to search for bugs and explore! Out of the five roosters we ended up with Sassafras is one of the most “pet-like”! He will definitely make a great addition to a home where they like to interact with their chickens! He’s been held every day prior to being put up for adoption (he falls asleep when we hold him and sing to him while gently picking the casings off of the pin feathers 🥹). Hope someone can give him a good outdoor life!!🖤
