Born on September 19th, Dandelion was shy and quiet- although that changed quickly as his crown and waddles grew much faster than the Barnevelder hen his own age! As a social butterfly, he spends most of his time grazing with the hens and sharing his treats. Dandelion loves to venture outside where his green feathers glow in the sun with a gold double-laced pattern throughout. He has recently started practicing his vocals, but is a little shy around his brother, Zuko. Dandelion will come running to see you when you call as he loves to eat food out of your hand or just be next to you. Dandelion was raised with four hens and one other rooster, Prince Zuko. When the four hens went to the coop to join our flock, Dandelion became best friends with Zuko and would often snuggle next to him or graze alongside him. Dandelion is a curious gentleman that stands tall and proud when he is given the chance to express himself. He would do extremely well with his own flock and would take great care of your hens. It would be “Dandy!” if he can find his forever home with your family.
